Reasonable POA Dues

The Chestnut Acres Property Owners Association has 36 members which comprises 56 lots along two private roads and a portion of Bald Mountain Road.


The community generally lies south of Buck Mountain Road and east of Bald Mountain Road, beginning where those roads intersect. The community was developed over time and each phase was given a different name: Chestnut Creek, Chestnut Tree Farm, and Chestnut Tree Woods.


  • Chestnut Creek Road is maintained by our community, extends off Buck Mountain Road.
  • Chestnut Farms Road is maintained by our community extends off Bald Mountain Road.
  • About fifteen lots on the east side of Bald Mountain Road extending south from the intersection of Buck Mountain Road constitute Chestnut Tree Woods. 
  • Bald Mountain and Buck Mountain Roads are both maintained by the local state DOT office as state highways.

  • Take the exit for US 221, heading north in about 22 miles.
